Carolina, dreamed up the idea for A Creative Step while attending parties worldwide and noticed everyone’s tendency to kick off their shoes to hit the dance floor.
Since she always likes the best of everything she noticed that the quality of the flip flops weren’t up to par. “I knew I could make them better” she says, and she does using the world famous Havaianas brand, a low minimum quantity, and outstanding customer service.
“I handle every one of my clients personally, I even have brides email me pictures of cakes and bridesmaid dresses for my opinion! Since we ship worldwide I get the chance to interact with brides from Greece, Australia, London, Italy, I love my job! When they send me pictures of their big day it makes all our work worth it.”
Since the flip flops are used time and again, well after the party is over, they are great for corporate events and businesses true ‘walking marketing’. “Our first big order was for Pandora Internet Music, they made a really cool design and gave it out during a conference to 1,000 employees.”
Carolina has helped companies come up with various different marketing strategies, being a Communications graduate and holding a Masters in Marketing makes it easy for her to grasp exactly what the client is looking for and the desired end result.
Carolina is very involved in the South Florida community, as an active member of the Junior League of Miami and supporter and advocate of various non profits she keeps busy! “We have worked with school sports teams to help them fundraise and for 2011 we are aligning A Creative Step with non profits to help them fundraise, all very exciting!”
